Learn a lifelong skill of photography and have a blast doing it!

TEEN CAMP 1 focuses on introductory principles in photography. Students will learn how to use their cameras and understand shooting in manual mode.
All of our teen camps have a significant practical component. Every day students will get a chance to shoot in great new locations around our studio, including; Harbourfront, Sugar Beach, Distillery District, City Hall, and other neat sites around our studio.

TOPICS DISCUSSED:

• Composition
• Exposure (Aperture / Shutter Speed / ISO)
• Shooting in manual mode
• Key camera settings
• Daily field trips (100% devoted to shooting and putting
  the principles we learned into practice)
• In-depth review and critique session 

FORMAT: One week day camp – 9 am – 3pm each day

AGE: 12 – 17 years old

CAMP FEES:  Our camps vary from $395 – $495 + HST *
*Please note that all of our camps may be eligible for the Children’s Art Tax Credit.

PRE-REQ’s: DSLR or any point & shoot camera that can shoot in manual mode.  For more details: CAMERA HELP

LOANER CAMERAS AVAILABLE:  $49.50 + HST for the full class duration. More info here.
Just register as usual and select the loaner camera option in the registration process.

REGISTRATION POLICIES:

Camp registration is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
All Camp registration is FINAL. Full payment is required to secure a spot. Unfortunately, we do not allow transfers to other sessions as we hold the spot and others may have been turned away. Registration deadlines are 1 week prior to the start of a session; however, please note that in most cases our sessions book up well before the registration deadline. GTA Photography Classes reserves the right to cancel or postpone any workshop without notice. If such an event occurs, pre-registered students will be notified. All classes begin promptly at the stated time. Any missed material is forgone by the student.
