Intermediate Photography
Teen camp II builds on the principles learned in the introductory camp (Teen Camp 1). A thorough review of exposure and shooting in manual mode is done at the beginning of the camp. This session includes a more practical component with focus on different fields of photography and students portfolio development. Every day students will get a chance to shoot in new locations around our studio.
TOPICS DISCUSSED:
- Review of Teen Camp I principles (Exposure, Composition)
- Introduction to photo editing
- Introduction to various fields in photography (Fashion, Still Life, Landscape, Street & Photojournalism)
- Portfolio development
- Pushing your creativity
- In-depth review and critique session
- Daily field trips (100% devoted to shooting and putting the principles we learned into practice)
FORMAT:
One week day camp: 9 am – 3pm each day
CAMP FEES: Our camps vary from $395 – $495 + HST *
*Please note that all of our camps may be eligible for the Children’s Art Tax Credit.
PRE-REQ’s:
Digital SLR or any point & shoot camera that can shoot in manual mode (“M”).

LOANER CAMERAS AVAILABLE: ($49.50 + HST) To rent a camera during class time, just register as usual and select the loaner camera option in the registration process.

REGISTRATION POLICIES:
Camp registration is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.All Camp registration is FINAL. Full payment is required to secure a spot. Unfortunately, we do not allow transfers to other sessions as we hold the spot and others may have been turned away. Registration deadlines are 1 week prior to the start of a session; however, please note that in most cases our sessions book up well before the registration deadline. GTA Photography Classes reserves the right to cancel or postpone any workshop without notice. If such an event occurs, pre-registered students will be notified. All classes begin promptly at the stated time. Any missed material is forgone by the student.
